Simon Eckert is a German artist from Berlin. Growing up in the 1980s the comic and box art of Masters of the Universe was one of his first artistic influences. With a background in graphic design, he chose to become a freelance illustrator in 2009 and has since contributed to a variety of projects in the field of games, ranging from board games and traditional RPGs to Computer games. At the moment he works as packaging artist on Mattel’s Masterverse Toyline. He also provided two covers for the new editions of the vintage Ehapa Masters of the Universe comics published by Retrofabrik.
